Marshview Marina LLC is a small & private facility with a 40 slip capacity. We are located a 1/4 mile from Long Island Sound which is 5 minutes by water. Access to some of the best boating & fishing grounds are all nearby. Since ownership in 1996, we have continually made improvements on the premises. The facility has a new facelift & old docks are being replaced with new docks constructed with the most modern materials. We have water on all docks and access to power if needed. There are fish cleaning tables to clean your catch. Restrooms are equipped with code entry and are kept clean. Within walking distance there is everything you need to enjoy a day on the water including bait, tackle, ice, & the best eating establishments in the area. Nearby area attractions include the Connecticut River Valley, Mohegan Sun, & Foxwoods.
In 2003, the bridge over the Menunketesuck River was replaced. The new bridge is 3' higher and triple the span of the old bridge enabling 2 vessels to pass at the same time. On Mean High Water we now have 9'+ clearance which is a major improvement. Permits for structures, dredging, & fill for the marina were approved in 2003-2004, and a major overhaul is in progress.
Full service is available, including spring commissioning, winterization, shrinkwrapping, & storage. We perform electrical/mechanical installations, overhauls, & routine maintenance.
